Muhammad Ismi Mat Taib is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Parit since November 2022. A member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), which is part of the Perikatan Nasional coalition, he represents the Parit constituency in the Dewan Rakyat. Throughout his parliamentary tenure, he has been known for his conservative stances, including public calls for the cancellation of beauty pageants in Malaysia, which he has argued can lead to societal calamities.
