Murat Çan

Murat Çan is a Turkish politician and physician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the province of Samsun, representing the Republican People's Party (CHP). Born in 1968 in Terme, Samsun, he completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his home province. He graduated from the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. Prior to his political career, he worked as a physician for the Ministry of Health and Ondokuz Mayıs University until 2011, when he resigned from his position at the Terme State Hospital to pursue other interests.
