Elvan Işık Gezmiş

Elvan Işık Gezmiş is a Turkish pharmacist and politician currently serving as a deputy in the 28th Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representing the Giresun province. A member of the Republican People's Party (CHP), she made history as the first female deputy to represent Giresun in the national parliament. Prior to her legislative career, she worked as a pharmacist for over two decades and held various leadership roles within local professional and civil society organizations, including the Giresun Chamber of Pharmacists and the Atatürkist Thought Association. She also serves as a clerk member in the Grand National Assembly.
