Murlidhar Mohol

Murlidhar Mohol is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Pune Lok Sabha constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was inducted as a Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation in the third Narendra Modi government following his election in 2024. Previously, Mohol served as the Mayor of Pune from 2019 to 2022, where he focused on urban infrastructure, sustainable mobility, and the development of the Pune Metro. With a background in wrestling and long-standing involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he has been a prominent figure in Pune's municipal and national politics for over two decades.
