Muzakir Manaf is an Indonesian politician and former guerrilla fighter who currently serves as the Governor of Aceh. A former commander of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM), he transitioned into mainstream politics following the Helsinki peace agreement. He previously served as the Vice Governor of Aceh from 2012 to 2017 and founded the Aceh Party, where he remains the chairman. Known for his strong influence among former combatants, he has aligned himself with the Gerindra party and was elected governor in 2025.
