Son Myung-soo is a South Korean politician and former career civil servant currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Yongin-si Eul constituency. A graduate of Korea University, he passed the 33rd Public Administration Examination and held various high-ranking positions within the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, eventually serving as the Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport during the Moon Jae-in administration. Following his career in the civil service and academia, he entered politics in 2024 as a recruit of the Democratic Party of Korea. He currently focuses on land and transportation policy, serving on the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee.
