Mykhailo Laba is a Ukrainian politician serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation. Before his election to the national parliament in 2019, he held various local government positions, including serving as the head of the Nevytske village council and president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Village and Settlement Councils. A graduate of Uzhhorod National University with a degree in law, Laba has been a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget. In late 2025, he became the subject of a corruption investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine regarding allegations of bribery for legislative votes.
