Mykhailo Volynets is a Ukrainian politician and prominent trade union leader. He has served as the Chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine since 1995 and the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine since 1997. A long-time member of the Verkhovna Rada, he has represented the Batkivshchyna party across multiple convocations, including the current ninth convocation. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for labor rights and energy sector reform, drawing on his background as a former mining engineer and trade union organizer.
