Забродский, Михаил Витальевич

Mykhailo Zabrodskyi is a Ukrainian military commander and former politician who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine from 2019 to 2023. A Lieutenant General in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he is a Hero of Ukraine and gained prominence for his leadership of the 95th Air Assault Brigade during the war in eastern Ukraine, notably commanding a significant raid behind enemy lines in 2014. He served as the commander of the Air Assault Forces and later as the first deputy commander of the Anti-Terrorist Center. In 2023, he resigned from his parliamentary seat to return to active military service, subsequently serving as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until early 2024.
