中西健治

Kenji Nakanishi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Kanagawa 3rd district. A graduate of the University of Tokyo, he spent over two decades in the financial sector, notably serving as Vice President of JP Morgan Securities Japan. He entered politics in 2010, initially winning a seat in the House of Councillors as a member of the Your Party. Throughout his legislative career, Nakanishi has focused heavily on financial and fiscal policy, including serving as the Chairman of the Committee on Financial Affairs in the House of Councillors and as State Minister of Finance. He is recognized for his advocacy in reforming the NISA investment system and promoting corporate governance and consumer protection in financial services. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been re-elected to the House of Representatives multiple times.
