Nathan Ip

Nathan Ip is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Edmonton-South West. Born in Taiwan, he immigrated to Canada as a child and grew up in Edmonton, where his parents operated a restaurant. Before his election to the provincial legislature in 2023, he served for a decade as a trustee for the Edmonton Public School Board, representing Ward H from 2013 to 2023. In his current role, he serves as the Official Opposition critic for Jobs, Economy and Trade.
