Nejla Demir

Nejla Demir is a Turkish agricultural engineer and politician currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Ağrı. Born in 1988, she earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural engineering and a Master of Science in animal sciences from Yüzüncü Yıl University. Before her election in 2023, she worked for twelve years at the Chamber of Agriculture. Her political platform focuses on fostering local agricultural projects, particularly those led by women, and creating economic opportunities for youth in Ağrı to curb emigration. She is married and a mother of two children.
