Nello Pizza

Nello Pizza is an Italian politician and criminal lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Avellino. He assumed office on June 19, 2026, following a successful electoral campaign supported by a broad center-left coalition. Prior to his election as mayor, Pizza served as the provincial secretary of the Democratic Party in Avellino from 2022 to 2026 and held a seat as a municipal councilor after his initial mayoral bid in 2018. As mayor, he has prioritized urban planning and the development of local infrastructure.
