Nelson Barbudo is a Brazilian politician and rural producer currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Mato Grosso. He first gained political prominence through his vocal support for Jair Bolsonaro on social media, which led to his election as the most-voted federal deputy in Mato Grosso in 2018. After serving his initial term, he returned to the Chamber in May 2024 following the passing of Amália Barros. Barbudo is known for his conservative political positions and his alignment with the Liberal Party.
