Nelson Jackson is a Panamanian politician currently serving his fifth consecutive term as a member of the National Assembly of Panama, representing Circuit 3-2 in the province of Colón. He holds a degree in Finance from the Universidad Santa María la Antigua and a degree in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Interamericana. Prior to his legislative career, Jackson served as the mayor of the Portobelo District for three terms between 1992 and 2004. He is a member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party and currently serves on the Economy and Finance Committee.
