Nelson P. Collantes

Nelson P. Collantes, also known as Sonny Collantes, is a Filipino politician and Air Force reservist currently serving as the Mayor of Tanauan City, Batangas, a position he has held since 2022. He previously served as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives for the Third District of Batangas from 2010 to 2016 and briefly as the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of the Interior and Local Government in 1998. A Brigadier General in the reserve force, he is married to former congresswoman Maria Theresa Collantes and remains a prominent figure in Batangas provincial politics.
