Vilma Santos

Vilma Santos is a Filipino politician and highly acclaimed actress who currently serves as the Governor of Batangas. Often referred to as the 'Enduring Grand Dame of Philippine Cinema,' she transitioned from a prolific career as a child star and box-office icon into public service, beginning as the Mayor of Lipa City in 1998. Throughout her political career, she has served as the Governor of Batangas and as a representative for the 6th district of Batangas in the House of Representatives.
