Nelson Venegas

Nelson Esteban Venegas Salazar is a Chilean politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for District No. 6 in the Valparaíso Region. A lawyer by profession with a master's degree in Public Law, he previously served as the mayor of Calle Larga from 2008 to 2020. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent member of the Socialist Party of Chile, holding various leadership roles within the party and advocating for regional development, including the creation of the Aconcagua Region.
