Nemcha Kipgen

Nemcha Kipgen is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur since February 2026. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she has represented the Kangpokpi constituency in the Manipur Legislative Assembly since 2017. Throughout her career, she has held various ministerial portfolios, including Social Welfare, Cooperation, and Commerce and Industry. A prominent advocate for the Kuki-Zo community, she has been a vocal figure during the ethnic conflicts in Manipur, consistently pushing for administrative autonomy and security reforms in the hill districts.
