Devendra Fadnavis

Devendra Fadnavis is an Indian politician currently serving his third term as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, having assumed office in December 2024. A prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he previously served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2022 to 2024 and as the Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019. Known for his background in law and business management, Fadnavis began his political career in local governance as the Mayor of Nagpur. Throughout his career, he has focused on large-scale infrastructure development, including the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway and various metro expansions, while maintaining a strong ideological alignment with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
