Nermin Yıldırım Kara

Nermin Yıldırım Kara is a Turkish politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Hatay. Born in Belen, Hatay, in 1975, she completed her secondary education at İskenderun Vocational High School and graduated from the Department of Economics at Süleyman Demirel University in 1998. Before entering national politics, she worked as a substitute teacher at İskenderun Vocational High School. After an unsuccessful bid for parliament in 2018, she was elected to the 28th term of the Grand National Assembly in the 2023 general elections as a candidate for the Republican People's Party (CHP). In her parliamentary role, she has been active in addressing regional issues, including post-earthquake reconstruction plans for Hatay.
