Nguyễn Thanh Nghị

Nguyen Thanh Nghi is a Vietnamese politician currently serving as a member of the 14th Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Head of the Central Policies and Strategies Commission. He is a Deputy to the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam representing Dak Lak Province. Previously, he served as the Minister of Construction, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee. He holds a doctorate in civil engineering from George Washington University and is the son of former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
