Võ Thị Ánh Xuân is a Vietnamese politician serving as the 17th Vice President of Vietnam since 2021. Born in An Giang Province, she began her career as a high school teacher before rising through the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam. She has held significant leadership roles, including Party Secretary of An Giang Province and member of the Party Central Committee. Notably, she served as the Acting President of Vietnam on two separate occasions, in 2023 and 2024, following the resignations of the incumbent presidents. She is recognized as the youngest person to hold the office of Vice President in Vietnam since 1945 and continues to be an active member of the National Assembly.
