Nicholas A. Ioannides

Nicholas A. Ioannides is a Cypriot legal scholar, university lecturer, and government official currently serving as the first Deputy Minister of Migration and International Protection of the Republic of Cyprus, having been appointed in June 2024. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he worked as a legal advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs specializing in public international and European law, represented Cyprus at the International Court of Justice, and served as Chairman of the International and European Law Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. He holds a PhD in Public International Law from the University of Bristol.
