Nick Hinrichsen is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Colorado Senate, representing the 3rd district. He was initially appointed to the seat in February 2022 to succeed Leroy Garcia and was subsequently elected to a full term in November 2022. Hinrichsen is married to Bri Buentello, and the couple gained national attention for their involvement in the 2022 election cycle. In June 2025, he announced that he would not seek reelection to the state senate in 2026.
