Lisa Frizell is an American politician serving as a member of the Colorado Senate, representing the 2nd district. A member of the Republican Party, she previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives from 2023 to 2025. Before her legislative career, Frizell worked in the Douglas County Assessor's office for many years and was elected as the Douglas County Assessor in 2014 and 2018. She holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and has been active in local business leadership, including serving as chair and treasurer of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. In 2025, she was elected to serve as the Assistant Senate Minority Leader.
