Regan Deering

Regan Deering is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 88th district. Raised in Decatur, Illinois, she holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Duke University and a master's degree in education from DePaul University. Before entering politics, she worked at the Shedd Aquarium, taught biology, and operated a Huntington Learning Center franchise. Deering became politically active during the COVID-19 pandemic and later served on the Mount Zion School Board. Her legislative priorities include conservative policy initiatives, such as efforts to restrict transgender participation in girls' sports.
