Nicky Morgan is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2020. A member of the Conservative Party, she previously served as the Member of Parliament for Loughborough from 2010 to 2019. During her ministerial career, she held several high-profile cabinet positions, including Secretary of State for Education, Minister for Women and Equalities, and Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Before entering politics, she worked as a corporate lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions. In November 2024, she was appointed as the Chair of the Advertising Standards Authority.
