Nicola Calandrini is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. He began his political career in 1998 with Forza Italia in Latina, where he served as a municipal councilor and president of the city council for several years. After joining the People of Freedom party in 2009, he transitioned to the Brothers of Italy in 2013. Following an unsuccessful bid for mayor of Latina in 2016, he was elected to the Senate in 2019, succeeding Marco Marsilio.
