Nikki Lucas

Nikki Lucas is an American politician, activist, and management consultant serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 60th district. Born in 1970, she assumed office on February 17, 2022, following a special election. Prior to her legislative career, Lucas worked as a management consultant, operated a music store in East New York, Brooklyn, and served as a recruiter for the United States Census Bureau from 2007 to 2011. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from the Borough of Manhattan Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in policy studies and conflict resolution from Syracuse University. Lucas is known for her community engagement, including organizing local events for seniors.
