Nilo Demerey Jr.

Nilo Demerey Jr. is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of the Dinagat Islands province. Born on October 23, 1968, he made history as the first male to be elected to this gubernatorial position. Before assuming his current role in 2022, he served as the Vice Governor and a senior member of the Provincial Board from 2019 to 2022. As the fourth chief executive of the province since its creation in 2006, he continues to oversee the administrative and developmental affairs of the Dinagat Islands region.
