Nirmal Kumar Dhara

Nirmal Kumar Dhara is an Indian politician serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly for the Indas constituency. First elected in 2021 and re-elected in 2026, he represents the Bharatiya Janata Party. Dhara, who holds a Master of Arts degree in English from Burdwan University, previously worked as a private tutor. He gained national media attention in 2021 when he was identified as one of the poorest candidates in the Indian legislative elections, though his declared assets have since increased.
