Nitin Raut

Nitin Raut is an Indian politician, businessman, and social activist serving as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Nagpur North constituency. A prominent leader within the Indian National Congress, he has held various ministerial portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra, including Energy, Public Works, and Tribal Development. Beyond his legislative career, he is known for his social advocacy through the 'Sankalp' NGO, which supports Dalit communities and victims of natural calamities. He is a follower of Buddhist philosophy and has authored several books on social and religious themes.
