Noel Grealish

Noel Grealish is an Irish independent politician who has served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency since 2002. Formerly a member and leader of the Progressive Democrats, he has sat as an independent deputy since the party's dissolution in 2009. In January 2025, he was appointed as a Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and the Marine. Throughout his career, Grealish has been a prominent figure in Irish politics, though he has faced significant controversy regarding his rhetoric on immigration and his involvement in the 2020 Oireachtas Golf Society scandal, for which he was later acquitted of all charges.
