Noraini Ahmad

Noraini Ahmad is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Plantation and Commodities since December 2025 and as the Member of Parliament for Parit Sulong since 2008. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), she has held various high-level government positions, including Minister of Higher Education and Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. Throughout her career, she has been a prominent advocate for gender equality, notably serving as the first female chairperson of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians and the first woman to chair the Public Accounts Committee in Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Development Management and has been recognized for her contributions to education and leadership in Malaysia.
