荒木 法子

Noriko Araki is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Niigata Prefectural Assembly. Born in Nagaoka, she previously worked as a magazine editor for publications such as 'Niigata WEEK!' and 'Monthly Niigata Komachi' after graduating from Rissho University. Following a personal experience with cervical cancer, she became an advocate for health awareness and cancer prevention. She served as a member of the Nagaoka City Council starting in 2016 before being elected to the Niigata Prefectural Assembly in 2023. Her policy focus includes regional revitalization, child-rearing support, and public health initiatives.
