Жусип, Нурторе Байтелесович

Nurtore Zhusip is a Kazakhstani politician, journalist, and public figure currently serving as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan since August 2019. Born in April 1961 in the Kyzylorda Region, he graduated from the Kazakh State University in 1984 and built an extensive career in journalism, holding senior editorial positions at prominent national and regional newspapers including Egemen Kazakhstan, Zhas Alash, and Aikyn. In December 2022, he was appointed Chairman of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science in the Senate. He has received numerous state awards, including the Order of Barys 3rd degree.
