Lyazzat Rysbekova is a Kazakh politician and public figure currently serving as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan representing the West Kazakhstan Region since August 2020. Born in Uralsk in 1976, she graduated from the Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University with a degree in accounting and finance, and later earned degrees from the Kazakh State Law Academy, as well as master's degrees in economics and finance. Before her election to the Senate, she worked in financial control, telecommunications with Kazakhtelecom, prosecutor's offices, education management as financial director of the Uralsk Humanitarian College, and as chair of the Association of Business Women in the West Kazakhstan Region.
