Nurul Islam Moni is a Bangladeshi politician, Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and Chief Whip of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad representing the Barguna-2 constituency. Born in Barguna on March 25, 1952, he studied at the University of Dhaka and was first elected to parliament as an independent candidate in 1988, later securing re-election in 1991 and 2001 before joining the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Known for his extensive parliamentary career and advocacy for constituency development, he assumed his current leadership role in March 2026.
