A member of the Mongolian People's Party, he previously served as the Minister of Digital Development and Communications and as Chief Cabinet Secretary. Before his rise to national political leadership, Uchral was a hip-hop artist and an entrepreneur involved in education. He has been a member of the State Great Khural since 2016 and is known for advocating market-oriented reforms, deregulation, and economic liberalization.
