Om Prakash Choudhary is an Indian politician and former Indian Administrative Service officer serving as the Minister of Finance of the Government of Chhattisgarh. Born in Bayang village, he cleared the UPSC examination in 2005 and served as a district collector before resigning in 2018 to enter politics. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from Raigarh in 2023, subsequently taking charge as minister for finance, commercial tax, housing and environment, planning, and economics and statistics.
