Ofir Sofer

Ofir Sofer is an Israeli politician currently serving as the Minister of Aliyah and Integration and as a member of the Knesset. A former major in the Israel Defense Forces and a disabled veteran, he previously worked at the Ministry for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee. Sofer began his political career as secretary general of the Tkuma party and has since represented the Religious Zionist Party in the Knesset, focusing on national-religious issues and immigration policy.
