岡田直樹

Naoki Okada is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Ishikawa Prefecture constituency. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of State for Okinawa and Northern Territories Affairs, Minister for Regional Revitalization, and Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary. Educated at the University of Tokyo, he previously worked at the Hokkoku Shimbun before entering politics. His political career includes service in the Ishikawa Prefectural Assembly and multiple leadership roles within the LDP. Okada is known for his conservative policy stances, including support for constitutional amendment, the strengthening of Japan's defense capabilities, and opposition to same-sex marriage.
