Ole Thorben Buschhüter is a German politician and a member of the Hamburg Parliament (Hamburgische Bürgerschaft). A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1992, he has represented the Rahlstedt constituency since 2008. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has served as the chair of the transport committee and the parliamentary investigation committee for the Elbphilharmonie. Currently, he acts as the parliamentary manager and transport policy spokesperson for the SPD faction. He is particularly noted for his long-standing advocacy for the S4 suburban railway project.
