Oleg Kolev is a Ukrainian politician and journalist currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine for the 9th convocation. Born in 1973 in the Odesa region, he graduated from the Izmail State Pedagogical Institute and later studied law at the National University 'Odesa Law Academy'. Before entering politics, he worked as a history teacher and a journalist for regional media, and served as the director of the 'Pridunayskie Vesti' newspaper. He was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 representing the Servant of the People party and is a member of the Committee on Law Enforcement.
