Serhiy Marchenko

Serhiy Marchenko is a Ukrainian economist and politician currently serving as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, a position he has held since March 2020. An expert in public finance, he previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance and as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in fiscal decentralization reforms and the development of the Budget Code of Ukraine. In 2023, he chaired the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, representing Ukraine on the international financial stage. He is also an Honorary Professor of Practice at the Kyiv School of Economics.
