Olga Freire

Olga Freire is a Portuguese politician and lawyer who currently serves as a member of the Assembly of the Republic, representing the Porto constituency. Elected in the 2024 national election as part of the Democratic Alliance coalition, she brings extensive experience in local government, having previously served as the president of the Maia Municipal Assembly and the president of the parish assembly of Vermoim. Throughout her career, she has been a prominent advocate for local power and territorial cohesion, and she has also served as a vice president of the National Association of Parishes.
