Oliver Schatta

Oliver Schatta is a German politician and a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He currently serves as a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony, having assumed office again in September 2023 after previously serving from 2017 to 2022. Outside of his parliamentary duties, Schatta is a master of automotive engineering and operates his own workshop in Braunschweig. He has been active in local politics since 2011, serving on the Braunschweig city council and as a district mayor in Rüningen, and has held the position of district master craftsman for the Braunschweig-Gifhorn-Peine region since 2016.
