Oliver Stegert

Oliver Stegert is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in 1978 in Gardelegen, he is a master chimney sweep by trade and has served as an authorized district chimney sweep since 2011. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he is active in local politics as a member of the Gardelegen city council and the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel district council. He also serves as the chairman of the SPD district association in Altmarkkreis Salzwedel and the local SPD branch in Gardelegen. Stegert assumed his seat in the state parliament in January 2026.
