Olivier Paccaud

Olivier Paccaud is a French politician and educator who has served as a Senator for the Oise department since 2017. Before entering national politics, he worked as a history and geography teacher and held various local government positions, including serving as a departmental councilor for Oise and a regional councilor for Picardy. A former member of the RPR and later associated with The Republicans, he has been involved in local administration in Ponchon and Compiègne. Beyond his political career, Paccaud was a musician in the 1990s as the leader of the rock band Lucie Cries.
